Amos Humphries
Amos is the senior pastor at Park Lake Drive Baptist Church in Waco, Texas. He was born and raised in Lincoln Park, Michigan a Downriver Detroit community. He received his BS degree in History from Liberty University and did his graduate work at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth.
Amos is married to Mariah, and they have three children: Clay, Juliane, and Hannah. Before moving to Waco in the summer of 2009, the Humphries served at the Gilead Baptist Church of Taylor, Michigan for 11 years as the Youth Pastor and Outreach Minister as well as the Music Teacher for Baptist Park School and Church Administration Assistant.
Mariah keeps Amos cool and up-to-date, while Amos keeps Mariah loose and occasionally frustrated. Together they’re a fun couple who adore their kids and love the ministry.
