I’ve been a Tiger’s fan my whole life. Growing up 15 minutes away from Tiger’s Stadium allowed my Dad to take me out of school to catch day games growing up. I’ll have sweet memories of watching Tiger games till I die, sitting with my late father down the third base line eating peanuts, sitting with my son out in left field sharing nachos, its all good!
Of course, tonight will not rank up there in the top ten Tiger fan moments! 13 innings only to lose to the team we were up by 7 games just a month ago! You’re killing me! I know whoever won tonight will only lose to the Yankees in the first round, but there is some wonderful enjoyment knowing your home team is one of only 8 teams left playing. Now all I have left is to get mildly excited when the Lions actually get a first down, or Michigan doesn’t lose as many games as people thought they would this year. Nothing with the substance of the MLB post-season. Another 162 game wait, hoping we don’t implode in the last two weeks again! Go Tigers, it’ll take months off my life at the end, but your my home town team nonetheless, so Go Tigers!
